Placing a Catering Order
Please follow the guidelines below when placing a catering order. If you need additional information, please call the Catering Office. Our staff is pleased to have the opportunity to participate in the coordination and planning of your event. Items may be ordered for group meetings or individuals, and will be delivered to the specified office or meeting room. To ensure prompt and proper service, please plan in advance. Please give us the time we need to prepare for your event. While we may be able to accommodate your needs with less lead-time, we prefer the opportunity to do our best for you.
Orders for refreshment breaks should be placed with the Catering Office three (3) working days before the event. Orders for meals and receptions should be placed no fewer than seven (7) working days before the event. Working days are considered normal caféteria hours. Caféteria hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30AM until 2:00PM. If an event is to take place outside of our normal hours additional labor will be charged for your event. Your menu must be finalized five (5) working days prior to the function.
Signed Contract/Purchase Order Number/Payments
Catering orders must have the proper signatures to be processed. A signed contract with a guaranteed count of people participating and prepayment by cash or check or purchase order number must be received by the Catering Office five (5) working days prior to the scheduled event. Prices for non-College groups will include a 10 per cent surcharge added to the basic prices listed in this guide. Also, any missing catering or rental equipment or other items will be billed to the event. Any questions regarding invoices should be referred to the Catering Manager on campus.
Guarantees and Minimums
When ordering a catered meal, the customer must provide the Catering Office an estimate of the total guest count. Five (5) working days prior to the event the customer must provide a guaranteed minimum guest count for which they will pay. The guest count may then be increased but not decreased, up to three (3) working days before the event.
All breakfast buffets come with freshly-brewed Gourmet Coffee and choice of Bottled Juice or Bottled Water.
